Free streaming of the World Baseball Classic (WBC) starts on Yahoo! Streaming

TV Bank Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative and President: Masayoshi Son) today began the free streaming of the World Baseball Classic (WBC) games on Yahoo! Streaming (http://streaming.yahoo.co.jp/), a video portal site provided by Yahoo Japan Corporation (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masahiro Inoue), ahead of any other portal operators. The exciting games of the Japan national team will be shown in several phases from today.
Programs that can be seen from today
Highlights of each game
The highlights of each of the three Round 2 games (Japan vs. U.S.A., Japan vs. Mexico, Korea vs. Japan), the semifinals (Korea vs. Japan), and the finals (Japan vs. Cuba), as well as interviews with Manager Oh and players after each game, will be streamed from today (30 to 40 min each at 768 kbps bit rate).

The full coverage of each of the three Round 1 games (Japan vs. China, Japan vs. Taiwan, Japan vs. Korea), the three Round 2 games (Japan vs. U.S.A., Japan vs. Mexico, Korea vs. Japan), the semifinals (Dominica vs. Cuba, Korea vs. Japan), and the finals (Japan vs. Cuba) will be streamed gradually in the future (1.5 Mbps each).
